Most folks know that the Nelson-Scofield VFW Post 4452 has been giving back to Veterans, their families, and the community for 78 years.
What folks probably don't know is that the post donates an average of $50,000 a year to the community.
Please consider a donation to support our major renovation! Read more below.
Founded and built in 1945 by a group of local veterans, the Nelson-Scofield VFW Post 4452 has been committed to serving veterans, their families and the community for over 70 years.
We are looking to renovate the building in time for our 80th anniversary.
Our goal is to raise $1.3 million to set up the post for the next 80 years.
We are seeking to build a world-class deck overlooking the Cannon River, and completely refurbish the lower level including an up-to-code commercial kitchen, new bathrooms, and community meeting rooms.
New siding and façade will give it a polish that is long overdue.
We offer a variety of programs and services to help veterans and their families. From education and training to mental health services, we are here to support our clients every step of the way.
This section will be updated in the coming months to highlight local programs and initiatives.
